Paula's Daughters is a group for 50+ single/single again women of our parish. Its focus is on fellowship, support for each other and social and church activities. The group meets once a month at various locations and times depending upon the activity planned for that month. Members are notified of the month's activity by phone and/or by announcement in the church bulletin.
Paula's Daughters first met in April, 2000, and was originally formed for the benefit of widows, thus the name, which was derived from the Patroness of Widows, St. Paula. She was left a widow at the age of 32 and became a model of Christian widows, devoting her life to helping the poor. However, over the years, group activities have broadened and membership has increased and now includes any single woman 50 plus years.
To join Paula's Daughters and for more information, please contact the church office. Notices of the meetings will appear in the church bulletin on the weekend prior to that month's activity.
